Sandown Park was a great success for 2017. The excellent location, right on Esher High Street, has good public transport access and plenty of free parking on site. We’re delighted to be returning there in 2023.
The exhibition hall is huge (100 x 30m), our exhibition is in two parts with free flow between the two. The competitive exhibition of honey, mead, crafts, wax, candles, photos etc etc. is an amazing spectacle drawing crowds from afar. It borders the trade and educational area with stands offering a great variety of information and goods including mead, soaps and cosmetics, jewellery, beekeeping equipment, bee suits, microscopy and books (mostly on bees). Beekeeping associations, beekeeping magazines, wildlife etc. organisations are also represented. They are all interspersed rather than grouped by type.
We have a programme of lectures and workshops throughout the show. Our usual visitors are mostly beekeepers from across the UK and the world.
